What did you have for breakfast this morning?

A question I get from a lot of people is “what should I eat for breakfast?” And I thought, what better time than Monday morning to answer that?

With three ingredients and one step, this may be the world’s easiest and fastest breakfast to make, and yet, thanks to the protein and essential fatty acids in the chia seeds, and the magnesium and antioxidants in the cacao, it’s also one of the healthiest.

Crazy, right?

My kids even love this one.

Granted, the one thing it’s lacking is curb appeal.  Someone on my Facebook page recently compared it to vomit.  But, I promise you, it tastes amazing!

Chocolate Banana Chia Breakfast

1 ripe banana, mashed

1 tsp raw cacao powder (not cocoa)

1 tbsp chia seeds.

Mix these three ingredients well in a small bowl, wait about 5 min for the chia seeds to plump up, and “Ta Da!” breakfast is served.
